Hey there!

Here you'll find our tips for starting, running, and maintaining your Life Saver Dealership. Everything here was written by Life Saver's founder himself, Robert Lupton, and it contains the wisdom of a person and company that's done this many, many times for many, many years. We've found that distributors who follow these tips succeed greatly. That's why we offer them.

Taken from the original hard-copy manual:

"Welcome aboard the Life Saver Systems team. There is a lot of information you will need to know, such as the history of the company, the background of the dealership concept. Most importantly, how YOU can successfully own and operate your own dealership.

OVERVIEW

The Life Saver Systems Dealership Operations and Training Manual will provide you with information on how to get your dealership off "on the right track."

Purpose of the Manual

There are two main purposes for this manual:

1)     To provide an accurate overview of all the aspects involved in owning and operating a Life Saver Dealership, including operating procedures and management techniques.

2)     To provide a resource to the Life Saver Systems Dealership Training program and reinforce certain concepts."

That's pretty straight-forward. The guide is divided into six parts:

1.  Starting Your Business
Here you'll find all the information you crave and need on obtaining licenses, incorporating, getting supplies, and anything else your dealer heart desires. Okay, maybe not anything. But pretty close.

2.  Personnel
Everything you ever wanted to know about employees. How many should I have? For what jobs? What about a manager?

3.  Employee Selection
This is an entire section just on hiring people. How to screen, interview, negotiate, rate, background check, and all the nitty-gritty.

4.  Accounting
Learn how to set it up and keep it going. This is, possibly, the most important area of this guide.

5.  Marketing
Get people to buy your stuff! That's the idea of marketing, and we'll cover everything from brochures to direct mailings here.

6.  Estimates
They've responded to your marketing, invited you to their home... now what? The Estimates section tells you.

So, what are you waiting for? Let's get started:
